BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH US
My office manager and I work very hard to ensure the needs of the team as well as the practice are being met. We are quick to eliminate toxic staff and clients. This may be a new trend in veterinary medicine but I have been practicing this since the beginning of my career because I believe in it.  We all want a pleasant, peaceful, professional work environment and are willing to work for it.

We have great clients. They have the education and resources to make good choices about their pet’s care.  This, along with our well-equipped facility, and trained staff, allow us to fully work up and treat cases. As a result, the cases are more interesting (not euthanized or referred out), we experience the rewards of helping owners and pets and we are not pressured into cutting corners.

We have great doctors. Our vets come from a variety of veterinary schools and experiences. We work collaboratively and get help from each other reading radiographs or advising on cases. You should never feel alone, confused about a case or lost in surgery when you are working with us. We will mentor you for as long as you need and teach you surgical and dental skills you do not have. Here you have the opportunity to improve your knowledge, skills and confidence.

We have great staff. We have an energetic, enthusiastic team of veterinary assistants that are skilled at tech tasks and eager to learn more. We currently do not have any LVTs but we have experienced veterinary assistants that carry out diagnostic tests, imaging, anesthesia/surgery nursing and treatments. Our veterinary assistants record your exam findings during exams, go over estimates with clients, obtain lab samples, enter charges and fill medications for you so you can concentrate of being a vet.

We have a great facility and Equipment. Our 4,800 sq ft of space has been recently renovated to improve efficiency and aesthetics. During this renovation, we added and replaced equipment. As a result, all of our equipment is new. We have a medical technician come out once a month to ensure all of our machines are calibrated and functional.  Our new surgery suite has a heated, table with foot control height adjustment, new anesthesia machine and state of the art patient monitors.  Our dental suite has new Midmark equipment, high speed dental drill and top of the line Schick digital dental X-ray.  All dental patients receive full mouth dental X-rays or Dental CT scan.
Equipment we have includes:
Idexx in-house diagnostic blood and urine machines
Sedecal Whole body Digital X-ray
NewTom Computed Tomography machine
GE Ultrasound
Tonopen
Ellman Radiosurgical unit
K Laser Cube therapeutic laser
Midmark Digital dental X-ray with Schick software
8 fluid pumps
Midmark, Mindray and Cardell patient monitors
Veti-DigiDop, doppler blood pressure monitor (the most advanced available)

We have an amazing, user friendly and time saving veterinary software: Ezyvet. It is cloud based so you can access patient files or your schedule from anywhere. We have computers in all the exam rooms and every other room of the hospital. My favourite feature of this software is the ability to use templates so that you do not have to retype charts, surgery notes, client emails and go-home instructions about the same conditions or procedures. This saves me a least an hour a day in charting. I am sure you will enjoy it too.
