Meet Our Team

She attended high school and college in both California and New Zealand where she earned many academic and athletic awards. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Jenna Chavez moved to Seattle in April 2023 from Charlotte, NC, where she practiced small animal medicine since 2013. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, and completed her clinical year at the University of Florida.

Kris is not one to put a picture up of herself or take any credit for the hard work and effort she has put into The Family Pet, these are just some of the reasons why we love her She has been with The Family Pet since 1997. Her specialty is cats and boarding.

My name is Suzy, I grew up in Everett, WA. I have been in the Veterinary field around 16 years. I love working with animals, treat each pet like my own, and enjoy educating pet parents.

I was born and raised in Washington. I am a mother to a handsome son and three kitties. Working with animals is a great passion of mine. I love every animal like my own, and will do anything to make their experience here the best!
