Dr. Pal founded BEAMVetCare, the family-owned group of neighborhood veterinary practices that The Family Pet joined in 2026.
He graduated from Punjab Agricultural University in India in 2004 and took a master’s in veterinary parasitology from GADVASU in 2006. He moved to Washington that same year for a PhD in animal sciences at Washington State University, finished it in 2010, and has made the Pacific Northwest home since. His clinical interests are internal medicine and surgery.
He is a Fear Free Elite Certified Professional, which takes the certification and about thirty-five further hours of Fear Free coursework. The training is in reading what an animal is telling you and building the visit around that, rather than working through it.
At home he and Sonia have two children and a Chug named Lily — half chihuahua, half pug, and firmly of the opinion that she runs the house.
